1. Does my cable assembly have to have a finalized and stable design before I engage with SureTech?
Not at all. SureTech will support you with design assistance, parts, material selections, and fabrication of prototype samples in addition to routine production. You can find examples of this work by reading our case studies.

2. Does SureTech populate PC boards?
SureTech personnel can populate through-hole components on simple PC boards. We have a strong relationship with a local PC board company that has sophisticated PC board capabilities that include through-hole and surface mount components. Thus, you can use SureTech as a one-stop source for your PC board and cable assembly needs.
SureTech made a strategic decision to provide surface mount capabilities through a partnership as opposed to developing it as a core competency. This enables SureTech to stay focused on what we do best – wire leads, harnesses and cable assemblies.

3. Can you use the material I provide/consign?
Yes, we can. Please be aware that, in many cases, SureTech’s supply base may provide the same material at a lower cost.

4. What are the delivery options?
For local customers, SureTech provides free delivery. This means “instant delivery” of crucial shipments because the deliveries can be made the instant they are completed at SureTech, avoiding delays associated with traditional shipping methods. For customers not located within the instant delivery area, including international clients, standard shipping methods (UPS, FedEx, common carrier) are supported.

5. What production volumes are you willing/capable of handling? High mix, low volume? High quantity production? Prototypes?
SureTech can and does support a full range of ordering quantities.

6. Does SureTech provide kitting services?
Yes. This is typically associated with the kitting of cable assemblies. However, we can kit any set of material/items that need to be packaged and labeled.

7. What are your labeling options?
Options for labeling individual wires and completed cable assemblies are vinyl labels and inkjet printing directly on wire insulation. Shipping packages are labeled with paper labels. Shipping labels can be developed to meet specific customer fonts and formats. All standard barcodes are supported.

8. Is SureTech ISO certified?
Yes. SureTech is certified to the latest ISO 9001 certification (ISO 9001:2015). The registrar is Advantage International, certificate number A-861. Date of certification is October 6, 2016.

9. Is SureTech UL recognized?
Yes (UL ZPFW2).

10. What document/drawing file formats can SureTech accommodate?
For documents, SureTech can accommodate all formats handled by Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher). Drawings can be sent using PDF, AutoCAD, and Solid Works. PDF is preferred. Please contact SureTech if you need us to support another format.

11. Who is my primary contact at SureTech?
A customer service representative is assigned to all SureTech customers. The CSR is your primary point of contact for all routine matters, such as purchase orders and delivery questions. The engineering staff is available at all times for technical and quality issues. And the President of SureTech, Jack Hayes, is always available for any need you may have.  You can email him here.
